The Department of Health is seeking a Director of Enterprise Risk Management (WMS3) to lead critical risk management efforts within the Center for Facilities, Risk, and Adjudication (CFRA). This role is at the heart of safeguarding agency operations, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement to enhance organizational resilience and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Develop and implement risk management programs to identify, analyze, and address risks across the agency.
- Privacy & Governance: Oversee privacy initiatives, information governance, and internal controls to ensure alignment with federal and state laws.
- Audit Leadership: Lead efforts to integrate audit findings into risk assessments, fostering transparency and accountability.
- Civil Rights & Public Disclosure: Manage programs ensuring compliance with civil rights laws, ADA requirements, and public records regulations.
- Legal Collaboration: Coordinate with the Attorney General’s Office on litigation, legal holds, and tort claims to protect agency interests.
Position Highlights:
- Leadership: Supervise a team of 6 direct reports and over 57 staff members across multiple programs.
- Strategic Role: Provide expert guidance to agency executives on compliance, risk management, and legal processes.
- Remote Flexibility: Enjoy a home-based work environment with occasional in-person collaboration as needed.
