Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. seeks a third-year mid-level litigation associate with CERCLA experience to join our firm at one of our seven offices.  The successful applicant will work on some of the most complex Superfund sites in the United States with top practitioners in the field.  The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues, such as the impact of emerging contaminants on Superfund sites. 

We are looking for candidates with substantial experience in CERCLA and/or hazardous substance litigation, a clear interest in environmental law, a strong academic background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The candidate should be enterprising and have a strong desire to become a leader in the field of environmental law.  

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Status as an active member in good standing of the bar in at least one state jurisdiction and ability to become admitted to a bar in one of the seven states our offices are located.
  • Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, the major environmental law statutes, such as CERCLA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. 
  • Strong analytical, research, writing and oral communication skills, attention to organization and detail, ability to work well under deadlines, creative thinker, multitasker, and ability to assume significant client responsibilities.
